MFT Automation is proud to announce the latest addition to our Labeling product line, the MFT Wrap Around Labeling System. The MFT Wrap Labeling System uses the dispense and wrap labeling technique to adhere pressure-sensitive labels to products such as jars, bottles, cans, and other cylindrical products of various sizes.
The Wrap Around Labeling System uses the dispense and wrap labeling technique. The system adheres presser-sensitive labels to cylindrical products as hugger belts rotate the product for accurate label placement as the products travel down a conveyor belt. The Wrap Labeling System is compatible with any MFT Labeler, including the Impresso Series and High-Speed Modular Series. Application examples include labeling jars, cans, buckets, glasses, bottles, and other cylindrical products of various sizes.
Some key features of the Wrap Around Labeling System include:
In this example application, jars are labeled with the Wrap Around Labeling System. Manually labeling the jars is tedious and human error can produce an unprofessional look with skewed label placement. As long as the labels do not need to be placed on a certain part of the jar, wrap around labeling is one of the most effective and fast ways to label a large number of jars as the technique uses the motion and momentum of the jar to label. In the Wrap Around Labeling System, the products move down the line on a conveyor belt as hugger belts gently rotate the product. The labeler dispenses a label off a peel plate and adheres it to the rotating product. The label wraps around the product and is fully secured as it is rolled on the system’s foam wall. See the system in action!
